Ademuni-Odeke

Prof. Dr. Ademuni-Odeke is a distinguished scholar and legal expert with extensive international experience in international maritime law and policy. He obtained his LLB from the University of Dar es Salaam in 1978, his LLM from the Institute of Maritime Law at the University of Southampton in 1979, and his PhD from the same institute in 1982.
He has held visiting professorships and research positions at numerous leading universities and institutions worldwide, including the University of Vienna, Central European University, Université Paris X, the University of Southampton, Tulane University Law School, and Southampton Solent University. He has also been associated with the UN/IMO World Maritime University and the UN/IMO International Maritime Law Institute. Prof. Ademuni-Odeke previously served as an In-House Legal Consultant at the United Nations Secretariat in New York and the UN Procurement Division.
Since 2018, he has served as Professor of International Maritime Law and Policy and Special Adviser at DEHUKAM. He has an extensive body of academic publications, including books, book chapters, and articles on international trade, maritime law, and commercial law.
