Sofia Galani
Dr Sofia Galani (LLB, LLM, PhD, FHEA) is an Associate Professor of Public International Law at Panteion University, Greece, and a Scientific Advisor to the Hellenic Parliament. She previously held a Senior Lectureship at the University of Bristol Law School, UK.
Her research focuses on the law of the sea, maritime security, terrorism, and human rights, and she has published widely in these areas.
Dr Galani also serves as a consultant to the Global Maritime Crime Programme of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and coordinates the Working Group on the Right to Health at Sea of the BlueRights COST Action (CA23103).
